Transportation Services
Airport Pick-Up
We meet you on arrival and transport you safely from the airport to your accommodation, so your first steps in East Africa feel welcomed and secure.
Local Transportation & Drop-Off
Daily transport to and from your placement site is coordinated by our team, and we arrange your departure transport at the end of your service.
A one-time transport fee of $100 covers airport pick-up, drop-off, and local transportation throughout your placement.
Accommodation Options
Family Hosting
$20/day
Live with a local host family, sharing in daily life and meals — the most immersive way to experience community and culture while volunteering.
Bed & Breakfast
From $30/day
Private room in a guest-friendly home or lodge with breakfast included, offering more independence while remaining close to your placement.
Guest House
Rates on request
Self-contained guest house accommodation for volunteers who prefer added privacy, available at select locations — contact us for current rates.
Volunteer Eligibility Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old; younger applicants may participate with guardian approval.
- A genuine passion to serve vulnerable children and communities.
- Good physical and mental health, able to adapt to a rural or developing-country setting.
- Willingness to respect local culture, customs, and community guidelines.
- Commitment to completing the full duration of the agreed placement.

Costs Not Included
Program fees cover accommodation, local transportation, and placement coordination. The following are the volunteer's responsibility:
